What is ZED?
Digital Racehorse
Build a star-studded stable of winning racehorses and create a legacy by buying, breeding and racing digital thoroughbreds. ZED racehorses are created with Smart Contracts that links your thoroughbred’s attributes and performance data using cryptography. As your racehorse evolves, it becomes more desirable and valuable within the ZED marketplace.
ZED will release a total of 38,000 unique digital races on the blockchain. After the initial release of 4,000 super rare races completed in early February 2019, ZED will launch a breeding platform in which stallions, mares, stallions and male horses can mate with each other, then inherit unique traits to their offspring. The more ready-made race races that are in your cage, the greater your chances of strengthening your heritage in the community and winning on the racing track.ZED uses smart contracts to develop generations of race horses and as such, ownership of native races will be recorded and tracked through the use of the blockchain ethereum. All pure race data such as lineage, genotype, gender, color, number of offspring and race statistics, will be stored in a smart contract. Given that all ZED races are tokens that live on the blockchain, they can be bought or sold digitally, with guaranteed ownership. In other words, you are the only owner of a digital race.
Early Release
ZED is releasing the very first of its super rare digital racehorses. This will include the purest Z1 and Z2 gene pool of the Nakamoto bloodline and Z3 and Z4 of the Szabo bloodline. During the Early Release, 4,000 of these elite racehorses will be sold one at a time, at a fixed price. Owners of these limited racehorses will be automatically selected into a race gate, ready to take the track in April 2019.
Create Legacy
Build a stable of racehorses where colts, fillies, mares, and stallions can mate with one another, subsequently passing down unique traits to their offspring. The more race-ready racehorses that are in your stable, the greater the chance you will have at cementing your legacy within the ZED community.

The more race your race and the more you breed, the more superior your horse race heritage. The greater the inheritance, the more wealth you can create by ordering higher selling or breeding prices through the ZED auction system.
Purchasing a racehorse
The bartering commercial center is the main spot where you can purchase a pure breed.
In the closeout commercial center, a base save cost is set by the client needing to offer their pure breed and will pitch to the most elevated bidder toward the finish of the bartering.
Clients who place an offer on a pure blood, if you don't mind note that you can't reclaim your offer.
Pure bloods are comprised of different qualities. Every trademark influences the general estimation of the pure breed, so you have to consider when choosing what is a decent pure breed to offer on. All pure breeds recorded available to be purchased will demonstrate the accompanying attributes:
- Bloodline There are four bloodlines, each with varying levels of rarity
- Genotype This is the ZED XXX number. The ZED number refers to how far away the horse is from its ancestors.
- Place History Race results of the thoroughbred
- Race Starts How many times the thoroughbred has ran
- Offspring The total number of offsprings the thoroughbred has
- Progeny Number of times offspring have finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd
In the event that you have a pure blood that you wish to sell, you can choose which pure breed you need to unload. When chosen, you basically need to pick your base hold cost and let the ZED community choose the amount they are happy to pay for it. When you place your pure breed available to be purchased, you can't pull back it from the commercial center until the offering time has passed. In the event that your pure blood is in the closeout commercial center, it won't be qualified to take an interest in a race, when live Racing dispatches in mid 2019.
